The Calhoun County Health Department

Home Health Services

Includes skilled and rehabilitative services provided in client's homes. These services are
provided under a physician's order, to homebound clients who can be
adequately and safely cared for in the home.

Home Health Care may include:

 
  • Skilled Nursing
  • Home Health Aide
  • Physical Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
 

Referral Services

Chore-housekeeping/Homemaker Services:

Any client needing these services are referred to
the Area Agency on Aging at 1-800-252-9027.

Meals-Plus:

Any client needing in-home meals will be referred
to the Meals-Plus for Seniors program.

Communicable Disease Program

The Calhoun County Health Department provides
investigation, reporting and control of
communicable diseases.

Professional and public education and information
concerning disease outbreaks and prevention are also provided.
